I have been watching this particular invention since 2006. It hasn’t changed much, other than the website has changed. I can not remember if I first heard about it from another person, or if I found it looking for water as a replacement fuel, but I am leaning towards the first.
The idea is to “catalyse” water so that it forms a gas, instead of a liquid, at room temperatures. Then you can burn it like gasoline. There is actually a product that is on the market, called the Model 1500 Aquygen® Gas Generator. This device is a replacement for Acetylene/Oxygen welding/cutting. This generator will separate the water and then shoot it through a nozzle at which point you ignite it so it has a flame. The claim, no reason to doubt it other than I haven’t used it, is that the flame will become as hot as it needs to be to cut whatever it comes in contact with. It starts in the mid 200 degrees, and can go up to 13,000 degrees when applied to the right substance. As I said, I have not seen it, just lots videos.
I am not so interested in the Gas Generator as I am in the ability it has to replace traditional gasoline. They talk about it, and even show a video on the news of his car being driven by this gas, but alas it is not available for sale yet.
I keep track of it every couple months, and will definitely see how I can go about getting an up front view when it becomes available, and share it on this site.
Please let me know if you know more about this, what you think, or if you know someone that can prove or disprove the idea. Thanks!!
